It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed founder, Peter Sigg, on 1 November 2025.
Peter was the visionary behind the creation of the Commodity Club Switzerland, and the very first advocate for all its initiatives and its mission to create a positive impact in the world of commodities. His dedication, passion, and human touch inspired everyone who joined the Club — including our entire team.
Peter was deeply and passionately involved in every aspect of our initiatives — from engaging our partners and members to organizing our events with extreme care and attention to detail — always embodying the dedication and excellence that only such a passionate person can bring.
We will continue to honor his work and his kind spirit, carrying forward his commitment to fostering a more responsible world. Peter didn’t just create a thriving network of committed experts in commodities — he built a community of people who care deeply about making the world a better place. He created the space where we could come together and work toward that vision.
Thank you, Peter, for creating such an inspiring place that welcomed us all.
