Mission to transform
Natural resources, such as energy, metals and food markets, play a vital role in driving economic activity, ensuring human survival and promoting overall societal prosperity. As a centre of competence, our mission is to support the transformation towards a more responsible use and production of natural resources, in line with the SDGs, and to promote sustainable practices across the entire commodity value chain.
We achieve our mission through strategic initiatives that educate, build capacity, and foster dialogue. We aim to create impact by promoting practical ESG implementation tools and mobilizing private capital, particularly for nature-based solutions.
Capacity building
We provide comprehensive insights into the functioning of natural resource markets from multiple viewpoints and perspectives. We share valuable knowledge to help organisations adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Private capital mobilization
We provide education on risks, opportunities and ESG benefits of investments in the natural resource markets. We promote private capital mobilization in line with the achievement of the SDGs, the objectives of the Paris Agreement, and the advancement of biodiversity goals.
Practical implementation tools
We provide a platform for commodity professionals to collaborate and deepen their understanding of best practices in sustainable standards. We support them in interpreting and implementing guidelines, principles, and industry standards.
